About Red Light Finder

We started Red Light Finder because the red light therapy world deserved better than Yelp.

Red light therapy is backed by real science — over 5,000 peer-reviewed studies on photobiomodulation, a growing body of evidence for skin health, pain management, and athletic recovery. But finding a studio near you? That meant scrolling through generic business listings, clicking through ad-cluttered review sites, and hoping the place you booked actually had the equipment it claimed.

We built something different. Red Light Finder catalogs 1,732 studios across the United States, with service menus, pricing data, review analysis, and the kind of detail that helps you choose a studio with confidence — not just proximity.

What We Track

Every studio in our directory is profiled with data you can actually use:

• Services offered — red light panels, infrared saunas, LED facials, photobiomodulation, and more
• Pricing — session costs, membership options, and package deals where available
• Reviews analyzed — we read the reviews so you don't have to, synthesizing what real customers say about their experiences
• Location data — address, hours, phone, website, and booking links
• Ratings — aggregated from Google and other review platforms

Our Research Process

We use AI-assisted research (including Claude by Anthropic) to collect, analyze, and organize data at scale. Our AI reads thousands of reviews, cross-references business listings, and identifies patterns that would take a human team months to surface. Every profile is then verified against public data sources before publication.

Our blog articles are held to a higher standard still. Every health claim cites a peer-reviewed study. We link to our sources — PubMed, clinical trials, FDA filings — so you can verify what we write. We report both the benefits and the limitations. And we update our content when new research changes the picture.
